The Show Must Go On

Over the past month, I’ve been asked by many of my clients how they should handle the COVID-19 outbreak with respect to their EOS® Implementation (and business in general). While I don’t proclaim to be an expert (nor do I play one on TV) my answer has been consistent: The Show Must Go On.

Though a core aspect of EOS is the Meeting Pulse™ which includes a weekly Level 10 Meeting™ as well as structured Quarterly and Annual sessions, this does not mean that you should throw caution to the wind, but rather adapt and leverage technology. If the scenario dictates that employees should work remote, by all means follow that protocol. However, do NOT abandon your weekly Level 10. Do NOT abandon any Quarterly sessions. And do NOT delay the 1-on-1 time needed to continually develop your staff.

Most importantly, do not abandon the objectives you set for yourself and your team that are driving the business forward.

There are some wonderful pieces of technology out there that allow you maintain your “face-to-face” time. I’ve been very partial to Zoom ( for its ease of use and multi-platform capability. For those who have standardized on Office 365, Teams has become the new standard and is a wonderful way to communicate among each other.

We always tell our clients to treat their EOS meetings as sacred. This is no exception. Do what is necessary to keep your team safe but stay the course in your business. This too shall pass.
